Founder & Co-founder
Environmental challenges, including solid waste management, plastic pollution, and stubble burning, are recognized as interconnected issues. In rural India, a small village grapples with a pressing problem: stubble burning. Farmers, tasked with disposing of post-harvest stubble, often resort to burning despite being aware of its environmental consequences. Meanwhile, in urban areas, solid waste management presents a significant challenge, with waste often ending up in landfills or being incinerated. We acknowledge these integrated environmental challenges in our initiative, focusing primarily on solid waste management practices.
Arpit and Sunil, young entrepreneurs with a vision for change, were determined to tackle the harmful effects of waste on the environment. Arpit established a headquarters in his hometown, where he set out to transform waste practices and support eco-friendly home decor products. Gathering a team of local artisans and environmental enthusiasts, Arpit embarked on a journey of innovation and sustainability. Together, they developed a process to collect stubble waste from nearby farms and convert it into raw materials for their home decor creations.

Welkiv Solutions is primarily engaged in Research and Development (R&D) in the sustainable product development segment, specifically focusing on converting agriculture waste residue into eco-friendly alternatives to plastic products. This includes areas such as:
Material Science and Product Innovation: Researching ways to optimize the process of converting stubble residue into durable, cost-effective, and high-quality products. This involves testing different methods of processing stubble to create products with the desired properties.
Sustainability & Circular Economy Solutions: Developing solutions that align with circular economy principles, such as ensuring that the products created are recyclable, reusable, and have minimal environmental impact. R&D is focused on making the products environmentally friendly, including alternatives to traditional plastic items.
Agricultural Waste Management: Innovating ways to effectively collect, process, and use waste residue, ensuring that this waste can be repurposed efficiently. This includes improving the process to make it scalable and economically viable for farmers.

Arpit, an Indian social entrepreneur, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and boasts expertise in business, product development, partnerships, and team management. As the founder of Welkiv Solutions, he channels his passion for sustainable development and innovation to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. With over 4 years of experience in waste management, Arpit exemplifies a steadfast commitment to creating positive change through his work.
Sunil Kumar, Co-Founder.
Sunil, armed with a Master's Degree in Chemistry from Shobhit University, serves as the Co-Founder and Marketing Head of Welkiv Solutions. With a wealth of experience spanning over 6 years in Digital Marketing, he has been instrumental in driving the success of over 3 digital media platforms. Sunil brings a unique blend of scientific expertise and marketing acumen to the table, contributing significantly to the growth and impact of Welkiv Solutions.
